I was born and grew up in the New Forest and have lived here for most of my life. I love living here, to be in nature with both the forest and the coast for meditating and playing my alchemy crystal singing bowls.
I have been vegetarian since I was 12 years old and I have meditated for many years. I was inspired by my travels and my time away. I lived in Asia (Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam) for five years in my 20s.
When I returned, I trained as a counsellor and psychotherapist. I have worked in many different settings within the NHS and for charities for over 20 years. Working with anxiety and depression. I worked in general practices, for Compass counselling in Lymington when it was, and I set up a counselling service for people with acquired and traumatic brain injuries at a Headway centre.
I started training as a sound healer in 2022.
When I came across alchemy crystal singing bowls something just resonated with me.
I completed my level one and level two training with sound universe international and I have gone on to train with Sheila Whittaker to add gongs to my sound baths. I continue with professional development each year as I have done for the last 25 years, adding many different techniques and practices to gain understanding and to establish my own way of working.
I am passionate about the community, and as I have done within my psychotherapeutic work. I like to be as accessible to as many people as possible.,I like to take my bowls to different settings in order to reach people in different areas and locations.
