We Love Local
We are passionate supporters of our local farmers, fishermen, producers and suppliers.
Our wild venison, for example, is as local and sustainable as you can get, directly sourced from the Hinton Admiral Estate. Extremely delicious, wild venison is also leaner than beef or chicken and rich in protein, iron, B-vitamins and Omega-3 fatty acids, making it the optimal choice for health and taste.
Meanwhile we are proud to support sustainable marine practices by offering local, line-caught fish and hosting the Christchurch Harbour Society’s clean water campaign.
Zero air-miles drinks are also on offer, thanks to our micro-brewer across the meadow: Drop the Anchor.

Hi, I'm Magda, a plant-based food lover who transforms simple ingredients into magic. I cook with seasonal, local, and sustainable produce, proving that plant-based meals are anything but boring. I love preparing big feasts full of textures, flavours, and colours, as the visual and aesthetic aspects of food are as important.
I enjoy winning over sceptical meat lovers with nourishing, protein-packed dishes that satisfy you, minus the food coma. Inspired by my heritage and travels, I blend global flavours with traditional techniques, from Polish pickling to Southeast Asian street food. Let me show you the vibrant, delicious world of plant-based cooking!
