Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical practice that involves inserting super fine needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow, known as "qi" (pronounced "chee"). It is one of the key components of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which has been practiced for thousands of years.

Acupuncture is often used to address a wide range of health conditions, including pain management e.g., back pain, headaches, stress reduction, digestive issues, respiratory disorders, and various other conditions. It is safe and painless and, very relaxing. Facial Acupuncture is a safe effective way to bring radiance and glow to your skin as well as rejuvenation.

Gua Sha

Gua Sha is a technique using smooth edged crystal and stainless-steel tools to stimulate, ‘scrape’ and stroke your skin.

Gua Sha is believed to help release tension, reduce inflammation, improve blood circulation, lymphatic drainage and facilitate the flow of qi, or vital energy in the body. It is often used to alleviate various conditions, including muscle pain, stiffness, respiratory issues, sluggish immune system, detoxification and used on your face, can brighten and tighten the appearance of your skin.

Cupping Therapy

Like Acupuncture and Gua Sha, Cupping Therapy is also a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is believed to promote healing and improve overall well-being.

During a cupping therapy session, silicone cups are applied to the skin's surface in specific areas of the body creating a vacuum suction treatment. The cups are left in place for a few minutes or maybe moved around (sliding cupping) to cover a larger area. The suction and negative pressure produced by cupping cause the blood vessels near the surface of the skin to expand. This results in increased blood flow to the treated area, promoting circulation and encouraging the body's natural healing processes.

Cupping therapy is often used to address a range of conditions, including muscle pain, tension, and soreness. It is also believed to help with respiratory issues, such as colds and coughs, and to aid in detoxification.

Facial Acupuncture and Oriental Facial Massage

Facial Acupuncture and Oriental Facial Massage, also known as cosmetic acupuncture or facial rejuvenation acupuncture and massage, is a specialized form of acupuncture and massage that focuses on improving the appearance and overall health of the face. It is a non-surgical and natural alternative to conventional cosmetic treatments.

During a facial acupuncture and oriental massage session, you will experience advanced sculpting massage techniques, intraoral work (optional) and fine needles can be inserted into specific points on the face.
